Seminar 31 May 2014: Reading Connections (Melb.)

ALIA Schools next Professional Development activity will be on Reading Connections  – engaging students in reading and developing a love of literature on Saturday 31st May 2014.

The morning seminar will feature ​Storyteller ​Anne ​Stewart, who ​will ​perform ​for ​participants. ​ Graphic ​artist ​Sarah ​Howell ​will ​also ​talk ​about ​the ​development ​of ​the ​graphic ​novel ​as ​well ​as ​provide ​information ​about ​her ​work ​so ​far. ​The ​ever ​popular ​workshops ​to ​prepare ​resources ​for ​this ​year’s ​CBCA ​theme, ​Connect ​with ​reading ​will ​feature ​once ​again.

Participants will need to register online with payment through the ALIA National Office. Please note that a compulsory 7% processing fee has been incorporated into the fee structure for this purpose.
